Artificial intelligence – especially large language models (LLMs) – is changing the way requirements are gathered, documented, validated and managed. But where does AI actually provide benefits in requirements engineering (RE), where are its limitations, and what risks need to be considered?
In this practice-oriented one-day course, you will learn how AI can be used responsibly and purposefully in requirements engineering. You will develop a sound understanding of modern AI concepts, learn about the functioning and special features of LLMs, and discover how AI can meaningfully support RE activities throughout the entire life cycle. The course combines theoretical fundamentals with concrete application examples, best practices for prompt engineering, and aspects of AI governance and compliance.
